Wholesalescout — Debit Card Auto Charging And Other Buyer Complaints

Scam has tainted the wholesalescout site. Many buyers have expressed the opinion that the website was created simply to extract fees from buyers, not to offer them any helpful service. It cannot be called a wholesale directory from any point of view. One buyer has claimed that instead of the £1 fee, she ended up paying over £ 200 in recurring fees extracted by these crooks.

Buyers, in their reviews of wholesalescout, complain that the site keeps extracting money through their debit cards without their permission. Therefore, you should not be misled by the promise of a seemingly small fee. The site purposely advertises the £1 fee, in order to lure more buyers to the site and bill them on a recurring basis.

Once they have your debit card or credit card information, they keep auto charging your account every month. Even requests to cancel membership do not work. The only way to stop them from auto charging is to cancel your credit card altogether.

There hasn’t been a single report of genuine buyers claiming success on this site. In fact, most buyer reviews have focused on the theme of scam on Wholesalescout.

No Products worth Purchasing

One of the scam tactics that Wholesalescout uses to attract buyers is to list high-end branded products on the site. Thinking that they will be able to access these products, buyers pay the fee. However, only later do they realize that none of these deals will ever materialize.

When you try to source these products, you will be told that the products are no longer in stock. If you pay the fees simply to find these products, it’s money down the drain.

The deals list is not updated on a regular basis and by the time the buyer contacts the supplier, the deals are already out of stock. Even if you, by some miracle, happen to find that deal, you will notice that the prices are higher than what was mentioned on the site. This happens because the deals are very old. Expired deals are not taken down and new ones are never added.

Purchasing expensive products does not bode well for any ecommerce business. However, the products featured here are expensive and the returns are not very high. Buying products from this site is therefore, going to lead to losses, because you cannot make much by way of profit here.

There is no indication that the suppliers are verified at all. Therefore, even experienced buyers are wary of dealing with the suppliers here — if they can get through to the suppliers at all. On sites such as this, fraud occurs when suppliers are unknown and not thoroughly vetted.

Your debit card data is used against you. The products are not profitable. The suppliers are unreliable. There is no guarantee that the deal listed is actually available. These factors together make wholesalescout an unreliable site, run by frauds that could damage your business.

If you want your online business to prosper and grow, it’s time to look for more reliable alternatives.
